Comentarios: Paul Simon escribió "Red Rubber Ball" junto a Bruce Woodley mientras vivía en Inglaterra.
Según el guitarrista de The Cyrkle, Tom Dawes, Simon ofreció "Red Rubber Ball" a la banda cuando abrían para Simon y Garfunkel durante una gira.
La canción fue un exito para The Cyrkle, llegando en julio de 1966 a ocupar el No. 2 en la lista Billboard de singles, sólo superado por "Paperback Writer"de The Beatles.
En 1997 se incluyo una versión en directo de la canción por parte de Simon & Garfunkel en el recopilatorio Old Friends.
